Copper. It's a good thing.

It's amazing what you see when you actually look at something. I was cleaning up in the kitchen this evening and when I turned over my frying pan, the copper coating had turned an amazing blend of red, blue, black and copper. It's not cosmic, it's Martha Stewart.

It's a good thing.

Everything Must Go!

As if 2007 wasn't bad enough for record store deaths, it doesn't look like 2008 is doing much better.
Today's Victims:
Music World at Rideau Centre, Ottawa.
(Final purchases were The Band: The Best Of - A Musical History, Shooter Jennings - The Wolf and Paul Weller - As Is Now DVD)

CD Exchange - Rideau Street, Ottawa
They'll still be open for a couple of extra weeks, but since my holiday here won't last a couple of extra weeks, my 'final' purchases were Queen - Rock Montreal, Kimberley Rew - Essex Hideaway and Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same

Call In The Army!!

My, how times have changed. In the 90s, when there was a snowstorm, we'd call in the army. Nowadays, we wait til the snow's almost melted.

Sun Sets on 2007

As another year ends, allow me to wish my 2 or 3 loyal readers all the best for the year to come! May all your wishes come true!

(My personal wish is that Hydro One would bury their damn wires so I could get better shots.)
