Forty Years, Forty Albums

OK, here's a non-photo posting for y'all. Probably my biggest vice is music. Mostly CDs, but I've been known to pay for the occasional download, concert, t-shirt, CD reissue, poster, program, vinyl, import CD reissue with 5 previously-unreleased tracks.... well, you get the idea.

I was stumbling through a bunch of music-related blogs and found the ultimate music geek "to-do" list: List your favourite album for each year you've been alive.

Now, having just turned 40, I needed some way to mark the occasion, so this was a perfect exercise. And so, for the years 1968-2008, here's my list....

Of course, this is entirely of albums I like and I don't care if the rest of the world thinks they suck. I mean, it's your loss if you can't sing "M-E-T-H-O-D-O-F-L-O-V-E" like Daryl Hall (or I) can.

(ok.... a quick edit to toss in some 1968-2008 photos...)
