January Crystal Beach Afternoon

When visiting one of Ontario's most popular beaches in the dead of winter, you know what not to expect. Exposed flesh, for instance. One thing you may not expect, but are presented with in generous amounts, is ice. Lake Erie's ice shield stretches across to America, covered with the snow which makes Buffalo's southern suburbs especially susceptible to snarling snow showers. (Take THAT, Irv Weinstein!)
